Games

Parents are a deaf child’s first “role model”. They are there for the child before, during, and after the school experience. Early childhood interventions are critical. The games are designed to encourage interaction between signers and non-signers alike through playing card games! The games use basic sight words including colors, animals and common food items. The intention of the games is to help the deaf child feel less isolated in their family or with their peers by using games that incorporate their first language, American Sign Language.
